The importance of interior design (a welcoming environment in a psychiatrist’s office) in health care institutions, especially psychotherapy rooms, is as huge as the therapy itself. Despite the reasons people have for going to therapy, they are all united by the same goal – to feel better and create a positive change. Unfit physical surroundings that make the client feel vulnerable can become an obstacle for achieving a positive change. And what kind of environment helps us feel better? Comfortable and cozy, where we don’t feel like we’re in a medical institution.
